Discounted BGS & PSA Submission Rates for Net54 Members

I just wanted to take the temperature on here to see if you guys actually submit to BGS/BVG at all and if you guys would be interested in discounted rates.

I know not every single person on here is vintage exclusive. I can offer some pretty decent discounts and I was thinking about extending them to the members here on the board.

Leon and I were discussing this over the weekend and he suggested I post on here to see what kind of demand/interest, if any, there would be on here.

Thoughts? Comments? Questions?

tribefan 06-12-2017 09:24 PM

How much of a discount can you offer? What service levels?

I have the ability to offer discounts on every service level they have outside of their now non-guaranteed service (20-60 business days).

It appears to me that 10-Business Day service is what most people who submit tend to utilize. Their published rates are $20/card + $2 for factory certified autos.

I'd probably offer up $16/card + $2 for factory autos for pretty much most orders unless someone wants to really throw down a serious bulk submission. I'd have to discuss that with them directly on a case-by-case basis.

Obviously if you're doing a 10 card submission that's basically like getting 2 subs for free. You'd have to spend close to $1k in grading fees to get down to that level normally.

Arazi4442 06-13-2017 04:57 PM

I've got a couple of raw cards I'd like to send to BGS, but not the quantities that would make a huge difference. If something were set up for board member, I would definitely take advantage.

sushihotwings 06-15-2017 08:35 AM

I would definitely utilize discounted submission rates for Net54 members.

mikemb 06-16-2017 10:01 AM

It is something I also wold be interested in.

Mike

ngnichols 07-11-2017 07:42 PM

TTT for today. I have started taking submissions for members so please feel free to contact me via PM if you have an interest in taking advantage of better pricing for your submissions.

bobbyw8469 07-13-2017 06:47 AM

While I have bought and sold BVG graded cards in the past, they just don't offer enough to benefit me.

rgpete 07-22-2017 02:18 PM

I would also be interested to have a couple of cards graded

TTT for today if anyone else is interested.

BGS is back open tomorrow so clock will start on orders again after being closed for The National.

Arazi4442 08-07-2017 06:14 PM

Nate,

Got my submission back today. Very smooth experience. Cards were graded in a little less than 10 business days and got my cards back a couple days later.

Thank you!

Discounted how? Do you work for PSA? Can I ask you about my order?

Exhibitman 02-25-2018 12:53 PM

Nevermind the discount, can you get those @$$holes to log in my ten day order? It's been there three weeks already in package received limbo.

I feel your pain Adam...We have a 50 day group order logged in around early November STILL waiting to get graded. That's a long time.

Robert, PM me and we can discuss.

No, I DO NOT work for PSA.

Yes, they are taking forever to log-in orders.

3 weeks seems to be right around the amount of time it is taking for them to log basically anything in at this point so I'm going to assume you should see them logged in here any day now.

The problem still lies in the fact that they are taking that long to log stuff in and still are not able to complete it within the specified service level. They are REALLY busy.

Our group sub, which was 50 days, is approaching day 80.....just taking a long time.

Gotcha.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of pricing did whoever is running it offer you guys?

I'm typically doing 10 and 30 day subs for my current clients.

ngnichols 03-14-2018 10:02 PM

TTT for those who are looking to take advantage. I've had a few people reach out and submit here in the past few days.

Nunzio11 03-22-2018 11:26 AM

Just wanted to post a little shout out and recap of a submission I sent through Nate. I had a modern autograph card I wanted slabbed so I reached out to Nate on 2/28. I sent him my card and on March 5th, he received the card and submitted it same day! Nate lives 20 minutes from Beckett so everything is hand delivered. On March 16th the card was graded and Nate had it in the mail back to me. He kept me posted every step of the way. 21 days from initial conversation to slabbed card in hand was incredible.

Everything was professional and courteous. The only thing I had to do was drop the card in the mail and send a Paypal...Nate took care of the rest. For anyone who is sitting on the fence about potentially submitting to BGS through Nate I have to say the process was top notch.

Tony,

I appreciate the kind words. Doing my best to take care of folks one client at a time. For those of you still on the fence, here is yet another satisfied client.

Contact me via PM if you're needing grading done with BGS or PSA and are tired of waiting on other guys to collect cards from a bunch of people and then going to submit. Your only downtime with me is your shipping time.

TTT for today.

56Horsehide 09-19-2018 02:17 PM

I just stumbled on this thread, I have read all the posts, and I hope I am not out of line asking some questions. First, I like what I read and would use PSA. Can you tell us more about yourself and how you are able to offer the grading fee discounts? It is nice of you to be able to provide the service, but why can't I (others) get the same grading fee rates you are able to offer? I apologize if I missed something and look forward to hearing back from you.

Jim, feel free to shoot me a PM and we can discuss further.

TTT for anyone else looking to get stuff graded at discounted rates.

What is TTT?

What kind of discounts are being offered?

swarmee 10-03-2018 05:09 PM

TTT means "To the top", as he's bumping his post to the top of the message board.

Shoot me a PM for further information/details if you're interested.

I guess I am curious as to how you can get "discounted rates"? Other than what is listed through their site, PSA offers NO special discounted rates. They make it point to let you know that it doesn't matter if you spend $500 or $5,000. I speak from experience. So how are YOU able to get something that PSA says that they don't give????

Got my cards back today.

For anyone considering submitting, I had a great experience. Sent my cards out on 2/7 and back today.

I'll be sending cards in again.

Appreciate the kind words Scott.

Another satisfied customer.

Leon 02-21-2019 07:51 AM

Bobby, it really doesn't matter. As long as Nate does what he says then so be it.
And in that respect the next front page submissions thread should go to Nate to do one. Not the one you are currently doing, but the one after this current one. thanks

Appreciate you stepping in on that Leon. I don't want to shit all over someone's thread and I'd appreciate that being reciprocated. Needless to say, the people who have subbed with me on here have been more than satisfied with their pricing, turnaround, results, etc.

my buddy, who got me back into collecting a bit, has been waiting for a 15 card order of "10's" Mike Trout for 120 days from PSA. In the meantime, he sent in another 15 cards 4 weeks later and those came back already. He thinks PSA is giving them to their dealers and replacing them with lesser cards? PSA has NO answer for him. It appears his cards are LOST @ PSA. He loves PSA, the registry and never strays and this is how they treat him.

I can't speak to what exactly is going on with your friend's cards, but PSA is a non-guaranteed service regardless of what service level you submit on. Every single one says "ESTIMATED" turnaround time. It can vary depending upon the volume of cards they are having to deal with at that time. We've had bulk stuff come back significantly early and some come back really late. It does seem to help if what you submit are either easy cards to grade, all alike, or a bulk submission of like 30 of the same card.

ngnichols 02-24-2019 11:47 AM

Look for a post on the main board here in about a week or so. Otherwise, just PM me if you have any interest in BGS or PSA subs.

Arazi4442 07-01-2019 06:53 PM

Wanted to bump this up....

and just give another great review for Nate.

My second submission with him and, once again, everything was great. I just sent the cards in the mail along with PayPal and the rest was taken care of.

Still had a pretty typical wait with PSA lead times but I even had one card PSA tried to push for an up charge and Nate took the lead to speak with them and show why the card was submitted under the correct charge.

I'll definitely get back in touch when I have another submission.

Thanks again!

Sorry but your friend is an idiot if he thinks that. PSa may have missed Mosers handy work, and thrown out or damaged a card or two in the 2 million they handled last year but they aren't switching cards. this is the old urban legend that has been floating around since grading has been around and is complete horse shit.
