Posted By: Scott Forrest
Normally I have to purchase lots with multiple items, just to get the one item I want - this was a nice change. In fact, I think the auction houses are starting to provide better and better alternatives to ebay. I am looking forward to the day when I only use ebay as a selling mechanism.

Posted By: Bob
Mastro and the other auction houses stubbornly refuse to do anything but include mixed bags of caramel cards with the end result you have to buy a lot of stuff to get the one card you want. For example, so often you see an E94 or E98 you want and it is neatly included in with tons of other caramel cards from different sets or worse yet, oddball cards and strip cards. I realize that they don't want to list single items which might only bring $200-300 but for this reason alone, ebay is a great place to find individual cards you need, (especially when they are mislabeled as "tobacco card" when in fact they are George Close E94s or Briggs E97s. I was able to make a nice pickup on what appears to be around an EX E94 last night because of the mislabeling. Hopefully it won't come back from the grading company similarly mislabeled

Posted By: Scott Elkins
I had seen the "tobacco" caramel cards when they were first listed. Was going to go back and bid more on the E94, but saw you were high bidder. I didn't want to seem greedy, since I did win 5 E92 and E101 cards from this seller (including a Horizontal Croft's Bridwell for my Horizontal E-card collection). I love it when sellers list cards wrong (it seems like the only way to get caramels at a decent price these days). I missed out on Mastro - outbid on the three E90-1 Keelers and the Yum-Yum Nash!!

Posted By: Julie
it's his second card, and he has NO 19th century ones, though he started playing in '92. His T206 (same pic as the Fan Craze) lists very high, but the Fan Craze is low., Somehow Lemke still thinks the A.L. Fan Craze came out in '04 (they came out in '06), and also thinks the HOFers from the A.L. set should sell for cheaper than the N.L. players. The A.L. are about 5 TIMES as hard to find as the N.L. Anyhoe, it was cheap. My 12th Fan Craze, and 4th A.L.

Who won #1006--the George Davis '90 and '95 portraits? Great deal--almost bid on it in my last minute, but couldn't pull the string...dunno why.

Posted By: Scott Forrest
I almost went for the "2-9" lot. I still have loads of old Marvel comics from the '60s, but traded most of my early Spideys when I was a kid, to complete a Conan run (what a mistake). Kind of like when I traded a '59 Mantle for a copy of Sport magazine...ugh.
