cards measure correctly but come back trimmed.

Posted By: eric p.
i have some cards in my collection that i have sent in for grading and have bought some cards that had been sent in for grading that have come back trimmed and the cards measure correctly, i guess my question is how can a card come back trimmed if it measures correctly or measures a hair more than the standard card for that particular issue?, here is an example: i won a pair of t204's in the 19thcenturyonly auction that were listed as "trimmed by gai" but measured them when i received them today and they measured correctly (lot #100), it doesn't make any sense.

A lot of people, dealers included, wre running around looking for oversized t206s to trim and resell.

Jay

My place is full of valuable, worthless junk.
