Cards mocking the player on them

Not sure what Gil Hodges did to the guy who made the text for his Post Cereal card.

"Note: Gil had no grand slams in 1962."

Maybe a disgruntled Mets fan? If only Gil had chipped in with a few Grand Slams, the 62 Mets could have made the playoffs! :)

My favorite has always been the 1941 Play Ball card of Harry "Gunboat" Gumpert.

If I recall correctly the first sentence on the back read..."Harry didn't set the baseball world on fire with his pitching last year. In fact at times he wasn't very good..."

Can somebody post a pic of the 1964 Ray Sadecki? Either the photographer was no fan of Ray's or they were both in on the joke

Mel Parnell's bio on the back of his 1953 Topps card opens with something to the effect of "1952 was by far Mel's worst year in the majors..."

LMAO... that is without a doubt the funniest thing I’ve ever read on a BB card!

Gumpert to his children:
Hey kids, check it out! My new baseball card just came out...oh wait. Never mind. Go back to bed.
