Greetings From Canada EH!

Hello all,

Thought it was time to join in on the baseball fun at the forum, sometimes I have questions or answers I would like help or can help with.

Some may know me as the author of the Vintage Hockey Collectors Price Guides or the VHC.

I am a Canadian sports hobby historian & archivist, mainly hockey but do love baseball and other sports and even non-sports. I enjoy documenting all hobby releases regardless of sport but am best with the "north of the boarder" stuff.

Big Toronto Maple Leaf Fan and Collector, so don't hold that against me.

The ice has melted....Splash...I'm in. Play Ball...
Bobby

Bobby, great to see you over here I frequent both the Hockey Forum and the Non-Sports Forum that you have also contributed to. For those that have questions about Canadian material Bobby is one of the main "go to guys" in the hobby!

Any truth to the story that Canada was originally "The Country North of the Dakotas" but when explaining to an American the Abbreviation the Canadian in question said C eh, N eh, D eh, and the rest was history?

Hey Bobby.

Curious what you know about this Beehive site? It has been down for months, which I originally thought was just being updated, but now I am not so sure?
http://www.beehivehockey.com/

Thanks :)

Thanks I had friends from PEI and I like to give them grief. The other one I like was; the name of the country was originally CANAD but the have to put an "eh" on the end of everything. but I'm not sure if I came up with that or if I just heard that somewhere. the other one is 100% mine :)

I LOVE canoeing in Algonquin. There have been times where I thought about seeing what it would take to stay!

BobbyBhockey 09-19-2016 09:18 PM

Yes, the Bee Hive site is gone now, not sure if it is going to come back, it needed more info and and big update, maybe someone else will take that on.

30 years since I've seen them they met up with the group that was my inaugural trip to Algonquin when I was a teenager.
