1928-29 Star candy card Question??

Does it make sense that it would be thick??<br />The card is the same size and color shade as the others but the paper stock is thick??<br /><br />Are the 1929 cards thick??<br /><br />any thoughts from someone..<br /><br />Best<br />Dick
