Posted By: James Gallo
Al, your post was well thought out and I agree with you 110%.

I post here once in a while, but read all day. I want to learn and get a broader knowledge base, I want to hear the older stores and the new ones too.

I honestly haven't had any interaction with Mastro, and have only seen tidbits on this board about them.

I think this change of name is very transparent and if I can see that then anyone can.

I also agree about Mr. Barkman, I am very tired of all his random posts that stray so far from the topic at hand. I am tired of the fights he picks and the crap he spits. It takes a lot for me to feel this way as I am a moderator on another collecting board but enough is enough.

Either tone it done A LOT or leave the people that want to learn and share knowledge alone!!

Back to cards it will be interesting to see what this new auction looks like especially when they are going to have one so soon.

James G

Looking for 1915 Cracker Jacks and 1909-11 American Caramel E90-1.

Posted By: DJ
Al, I truly admire your haiku skills and you are 111% correct. I was going to add to the thread with my own mad skills, but it's like a comedian trying to follow Seinfeld. How many days ago did the sun shine here when he announced his departure. Let's take a look.

March 8 2009, 11:46 AM

This will be my last post in regards to this precious Natzi boot camp.

Ah, that's the sign of a good debater. Go with a mention of the ideology of the National Socialist German Workers Party! That's harmless, thinks the pizza ordering student from Fast Times At Ridgemont High! And for future debates, it's spelled "N-a-z-i".

Every time he chimes in, it automatically becomes a 200+ thread and we learn nothing about anything. We did learn Al is a damn fine popular culture poet. The board's Kobayashi Issa.

I too take breaks when the Forum gets out of hand. A little sillyness is always good to lighten the mood, but when it becomes insulting, crude, rude and offending, it's no fun and brings out the worst in people who find ways to sink to the offenders level.

My two cents...

DJ
