Thanks Rhett. The Colgan's Chip was actually the reference I used for a positive photo ID.
Btw, that Slagle Home Run Kiss you posted is a beauty. Congrats. |
Upgrade And Pick Up And Project Card
http://imagehost.vendio.com/a/204295...DE_NEW_001.JPG
..An upgrade of a beater , a Yankee premium from the 1936 R-314 Wide Pen Set , and an update of the ongoing cleaning process on the Worch Cigar Project's Vintage Poster of the 1933-1935 Minneapolis Millers. ..I've just noticed that the two bottom cards' players both seem to have a lot of "R"'s in their names .......possibly descended from pirates.... .. |

My two most recent pickups. Two of my all-time favorites. Had to sell a lot of shiny stuff to make it happen and couldn’t be happier about it. Both acquired through this forum. Thank you!

I thought I would post some Pics of some great early Cabinet Cards that I just found at a local Sign/Advertising Show. I have been a long time collector of early Cards and Bats but have never posted on this Site before. Please let me know if anyone recognizes any of these Players.

Congrats on the D310 Pacific Coast Biscuit
Ed,
Congrats on the D310 Pacific Coast Biscuit. I have never seen the Pacific Coast Biscuit stamp before. I have an example with the Aldon Candy Co. Stamp on the back of a D310. Patrick |

1911 T212 Lerchen: Pretty nice example of an Edward L. Morrison back stamp
1911 T212 Moskiman: A bit of a print shift from left to right resulting in a ghost image 1911 T212 Cack Henley: One of my favorite poses from the 1911 run and not the typical generic back bio. The back mentions a 24 inning complete game shutout, cool stat. 1933 Goudey Bing Miller: Bought as a junker, probably is a junker, but I'll pretend it missed it's red printing :D |

Good Afternoon! I just had a chance to take some better Pictures of the Cabinet Cards that I just found. I love these things. The guy that I bought them from said he found them at a Tractor Show/Swap meet? I would love to know who the Players are if anyone can identify them? I have attached 11 out of the 20 Cards below.
Thanks again for any help! |

An upgrade for my Arky Vaughan. I got the graded one for free from a coworker about 12 years ago and got the ungraded one for about $20 after shipping and tax.

Not pre-war, but these pickup threads seem to play a little fast 'n' loose with that rule. Picked up this beauty of a 5.5:
