Thanks guys...it has a very minor horizontal wrinkle mid card.

Sean is right, he was 10...gave it to me the day I was born and I did the same with my son. It was a good time to grow up in southern Ontario where the high series where a plenty.

I still think the card is authentic based on what I can see in the photographs... It would be great if you could post the auction house... I don't know if you are concerned about us seeing the price you pay but I don't think any of us care or it really matters - you can ask what you want - but posting the auction house would add to any credibility the card may have.

By doing that, it gives away how much he paid for the card he is trying to sell....That definitely matters when you are trying to sell something for a profit. When you see someone got a good deal on it you will base your bidding according to that.

That is the point of researching a price right? or am i missing something here? There have been many cards I would 1k for but know the seller only paid 200 for it...that is a huge negotiating advantage.

That makes it all the better, then. Outside of being just a gorgeous example of one of the most famous cards ever made, it has a strong sentimental value attached to it.

It just doesn't get any better than that. And it's really cool that you and your son can share your hobby together, Chris.

Thank you for sharing ;) These are the little pearls that make Net 54 special to me. The knowledge here is incredible, of course, but it's the personal stories that make me feel like part of a bigger family.
