Posted By: barrysloateThere is also a cabinet photograph of the 1867 Marshalltown team with a 15-year-old Anson. It is unmistakenly him. Both the cabinet and CdV are unique, and both are owned by one of our regular posters.

It is on newspaper stock. What stock is yours on and is it also from Harpers or is it the original from which Harpers took it ? Thanks. Mark K. Bowers

And a very rare early image of Anson indeed, with fellow ball player Barry "Shuttlecock" Sloate. Barry tells me this is from the very early 70's.
