Posted By: Paul
It's no surprise to see someone selling color Fro-Joy cards on ebay as originals. It's also no surprise to see the same person telling you that he found the cards in grandpa's attic so you know they must be original. But this guy has gone the next step and warned his potential bidders not to be fooled by those black and white ones you see on ebay. THOSE are the reprints. Unbelievable.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Estate-Fresh-Babe-Ruth-Fro-Joy-Ice-Cream-Uncut-Cards-NR_W0QQitemZ120373143049QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_SM_S ports_Cards?hash=item120373143049&_trksid=p3286.c0 .m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A10%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1 318

Posted By: Steve F
When Papi kicks, the Grandkids get first dibs and snatch-up all the Authentic junk... Whilst the loveless, grandnephews always get stuck with the attic leftovers.

Posted By: Monte Calhoun
Alright, alright! I'm the IDIOT who posted these fake cards. Believe me that everything I stated in the description was absolutely true (except that "authentic" word, which I was certain was true at the time). Many thanks to the knowlegeable collectors on this website who corrected my huge mistake and showed just how ignorant I am (or was) about these cards. Granduncle Everett is probably having a good laugh........
Many Apologies,
Monte Calhoun

Posted By: leon
Everyone makes mistakes. It's how you deal with them that differentiates anyone from being a good person or being pond scum. Owning up to a mistake is noble. This board takes it very easy on folks who admit they made a mistake. The ones that go down with the ship and stick to their deceit get what they have coming to them....Welcome to the board too!! It's a great place to expose fakes and talk about cards....take care
