Posted By: OhioCollectibles
I am looking to start a T-Type card collection. I want to pick up one example of each T-Type card in raw form. Any suggestions on the best way to go about this. I've never collected anything pre-1951 before so this is all new to me. Any suggestions as to where and how to go about it. I am on a limited budget so This will be a year long project to pick up one every other month.

Here's what I know I will be looking to pick up

T-201 Mecca Double Folder
T-202 Hassan Triple Folder
T-203 Mayo Baseball Comic's
T-204 Ramley
T-205 Gold
T-206

Are there any other tobacco issues I should consider?

Thanks for the help,
Bill Williams

Posted By: peter ullman
you can pretty easily pick those up on ebay...or most on the BST if you're a little patient...or one stop shopping on Leon's website...maybe he'll cut you a deal...and you'll be asured they're real!

You may as well get a t207 while you're at it...after that the types can get pricy and tougher!

Posted By: leon
Peter was giving me a friendly plug above. I am a fairly well known type card collector and run this friendly forum, with the help of a few others. I am mainly a collector but dabble in the auction business and personal sales. I have been somewhat addicted to what you are about to do, for the last 12-13 yrs. As has been told some of the T cards will be tough and others not so tough. You have found a good place for information. Here is my website and if you look at my personal collection you will see at least one of each card you are after. I think I am complete on T cards .....best regards

http://luckeycards.com/
