Posted By: marshall barkman
The card looks like a repo. I bet the seller is schilling the card. He has 0 feedback and the current buyer has a feedback of 4. Desperate times for desperate folks.

Posted By: marshall barkman
Well honus was the first two sport athlete. He actually wore a disguise while playing football so the Pirate brass would not know. Bo Jackson regards him as a mentor.

Posted By: marshall barkman
What i like is that he focused the camera perfect on the back of the card yet both front shots are blurry. Also the two one dollar bills on the table are hilarious. I guess times are rough.

Posted By: jay wolt
I have this card too somewhere and as stated it has $20K value
listed on the reverse. So its funny that the bid is at $100,200.00
now and still hasn't met the reserve.
This knucklehead has no idea its a .25 cent card

Posted By: Shawn Chambers
I got mine when I was around 10 or 11...'81 or '82. I think it was part of a package deal that I ordered from Scholastic? I still have it and others like Plank, Magee, Goudey Lajoie...all with the same "value" information on the back.

Fun when you are 11...not so much fun now wading through them on ebay.

Shawn
Posted By: Mike
The accountant in me wonders if Ebay will include the commission "earned" from this transaction as revenue for their next quarterly earnings disclosure. Times are tough for everybody.

Posted By: barrysloate
Somebody should invent a reprint with a tiny computer chip in it, so that the card can automatically update its own value over time.

By now, it would have read "this card is worth $250,000" on the back. It could be hooked up to VCP so that when Bobby updates his site the card will post that new information.

Posted By: Eric B
Crap. It got ended when I was high bidder. I wonder if the seller is desperately trying to remember who the bidder was for an off-Ebay sale.
