Posted By: <b>Len</b><p>I've been looking for a Cin.Reds player,Bescher,in the E-254 series for several years--based on the listing in Lew Lipset's "Ency.of B'll Cards"(p.74 in the middle section)which lists Bescher in both E-254 and Tin Tops.However,the 2008 edit.of Std.Cat.of B'll Cards lists Bescher only in the Tin Tops.Can someone tell me,definitively,which is correct ????<br><br>

He was one of several errors listed in several early checklist's (including Lipset's encyclopedia) that were perpetuated for many years.
