Posted By: <b>Frank Wakefield</b><p>I agree... <br><br>To expand a bit, card #1 was most likely to be atop a stack of cards. There, it was subject to more wear and abuse than cards further down in the stack. Since the card stock was a bit flimsy, fewer #1 cards have survived to our 21st century.

Also in the 1914 Feds. #60 Zeider is high, probably due to he was relpaced in 1915 set.<br><br><br>Edit to say I gotta' start thinking or typing faster !!

The most significant is Christy Mathewson. The 14 is a pitching pose, the 15 is a portrait. The 14 is extremely desirable and is quickly becoming one of the most expensive cards of the era.<br>#93 Derrill Pratt. Pose change, once again throwing to portrait.<br>#99 Another highly desirable player change. Frank Chance was replaced by Hal Chase in 15. In the last 3 years Ive seen a lot less of Chance than of the Matty, but it goes for less.<br>#111 Nixey Calahan replaced by Herb Moran.<br><br><br>thanks grif
