Posted By: Jeff W.
Yeah, they are pretty valuable cards. The commons normally sell for $150 on up. Here is a link to the old cardboard website which can tell you more information on the cards:

http://www.oldcardboard.com/t/t209/t209.asp?cardsetID=702

Jeff

Posted By: Eric
Thanks for the info. Now that I know their designation I will be able to research. I'm sure you are all used to this forum but I have to tell you as a new guy......it's awesome to have so much expertise at your fingertips. Thanks again.

Posted By: Martin Neal
I used the SCD to determine an pre-ebay offer on some E222s one time. I had never seen these before so I used the 2003 edition (only edition I had) which had them listed at $375.00. Even though these were poor to fair, I think I offered around $400.00 each. He thought about it for a couple of days and then decided to let them go on Ebay. If I remember correctly, Dave Levin picked them up for a song (smiley face here) (10 plus times my offer). Don't always trust the Digest.

Posted By: JohnV
Thanks. I remember when the 2009 came out, board members noted that many issues were not even updated from last year. So, I also now use it as "a guide". I would have paid for a consolidated version of pre-war or even one with no pricing at all rather than this 10 pounder. (Discussed in a previous post.) I have zero interest in the 90 ba-zillion modern cards.

By the way. Happy New Year to all. Thanks to all of you for what you have to share.
John

Posted By: Eric
Well, they have to at least be worth more than $25 a piece. Got them this morning and one of which is super sharp. I'll scan in later.
