Posted By: David McDonald
I've got some nice cards. Real hard to pick a favorite. For the sake of this thread this newest addition to the collection (which arrived in a mere 17 days after my check was cashed all the way from Tustin, California to Honolulu, Hawaii by outrigger canoe, awesome effort guys, but I digress . .) shall be the reigning current fave. To see a scan is one thing; to hold it in hand is to be amazed. It's clean as a whistle. Against a light the thin card is translucent without an iota of caramel. No flaws to interfere with the appreciation of the graceful moment of that decent gentleman initiating the trajectory of serious heat, bringing the noise, as it were, to some unfortunate batsman in 1914. "The nicest card ever created of all cards created in the history of card creation?" Maybe yes, maybe no, but damn glad it's here looking back at me all the same.

Edited to ponder: Have I been reading too many Mastro descriptions? Yeah, probably.
