Posted By: dan mckee
Jim, notice the point of his right collar isn't there. A variation?? His right collar would be the one on the left for you challenged gents.

Posted By: dan mckee
ok I have just looked at a few and it seems the one I just sent in for grading has the tip of the collar when most don't. I am confused.

Posted By: Sean
What kind of back is it...looks like a 350 series since it's a bit washed out, I think that 150 series have a little more color definition (possibly why it appears to beck lacking part of the collar).

Sean

Posted By: Jeff Lichtman
Dan, the borders look fine -- I don't even think they're overly large.

Posted By: JimB
I still think it looks ok. The printing is a little light, which may account for the right collar, but I am not bothered by it. I would also guess that it is not a Piedmont back, because the Piedmonts tend to be OC top to bottom. Dan, if you are uncomfortable with it, I have a PSA 6 I would consider trading for it. I am guessing yours is a 5, so we would have to work out details. Email if interested in discussing it.
JimB

Posted By: dan mckee
short?? i have 20 different legit sizes in my T206 set that was amassed in the 1970s. Size is meaningless with this issue. The borders and collar bothered me but it looks like we have the collar figured out and I am the only one seeing the thick borders so that issue is obviously with my eyes. Which doesn't surprise me at my ripe old age of 46!

Posted By: Dave
Looks good to me. Top border is tough but the scan is a little funny with it next to the holder.

Posted By: Steve Dawson
I'm not so sure that it's short top-to-bottom. If anything, it looks wider than normal. If that's the case, PSA probably had to put it in one of their E/N card holders, which are slightly larger in both directions (to accomadate the larger E/N cards). That would account for it appearing "short" in comparison to the holder.

Otherwise, the card appears perfectly fine to me.

Steve

Posted By: Bob Lemke
To my eye, the frame around the picture looks light, like the typical pixelated or rescreened T206 many T206 reprints exhibit. I'd expect it be a more defined black.
