He could have faded from the scene ,embittered even, and noone would have been surprised.But he turned it all around in broadcasting.Very inspirational really.<br>One of my fondest memories was when Herb and Rocky Colavito came to our town in 1958. A huge crowd gathered and caused gridlock on the streets. Both those guys were like gods to us kids.We actually had a preety good team back then. Of course within a couple years they were both gone, but it was golden for a moment. What a contrast with the whiners we root for now.
