Posted By: <b>Jeff S.</b><p>I don't know much about baseball notebook covers, but to me the pencil writing is a good indicator - I've seen that numerous times on period writing tablets. Also look at the gold printing around the image of Joss - I'd assume if period that would be a solid ink as opposed to a more modern dot matrix pattern. Maybe the gold almost looks as if it has a very slight thickness to it, or at least added last in the printing process? Possibly similar to the ink used on the borders of T205's. If you can see an overlap in inks, such as with the gold over the red, I'd say that's a good sign of a period piece.
