Posted By: Paul
I thought this 1927 Exhibit Ken Williams would be a twenty or thirty dollar card. Any idea what happened?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEDWX:IT&item=220298594212

I think I may have answered my own question. The winner had a feedback of 1. The runner up had private feedback. The third highest bid was about $66, higher than I thought it should be, but not insane.

Posted By: boxingcardman
that Williams is hard to believe. I guess I can list my dupe and see where it goes...

Luque is a really tough card. I can't recall the last time I saw one offered for sale as a single.

And someone tell these so-called whales to get the hell out of my collection; they're wrecking my fun!

Sic Gorgiamus Allos Subjectatos Nunc

Posted By: Jodi Birkholm
I have a signed example of the Luque I bought in with a lot of signed Exhibits. I didn't realize it had any value unsigned. Like Adam, I guess I have to pull out my autgraphed Exhibits to see what they'll bring in today's market.

Posted By: Jeff Lichtman
Dennis, good point. The winner obviously has been hunkered down, patiently waiting for the past 3 years, not bidding on any other items, for that elusive Williams Exhibit graded 4.5.
