Posted By: J Levine
Okay...I have a few cards on my Phillies list that I have never seen that I still cannot determine if they are pictured as a Phillie player or not...I did this a few years ago and was able to confirm a few and knock a few off the list. Listed below are some cards I would love scans of (or if you have for sale or trade for that matter) I would truly appreciate it.

'35-'37 Geroge Burke Photostamps #'s: 23 Si Johnson(?) may be other Phillies.

1898 Cameo Pepsin Gum Pins #'s: Donahue(?)

1920 D381-1 Gassler's American Maid Bread #'s: Nehf(?)

1911 Diamond Gum Pins #'s: Thomas(?)

1910 E-271 Darby Chocolates #'s: 23 Luderous(?)

1939-46 Exhibits Salutations #'s: 56 Rizzo(?)

1938 Foto Fun #'s: 11 Camilli(?), 64 Muellar(?)

1915 Postaco Stamps #’s: Grover Cleveland Alexander(?)

1932 R-337 #'s: 422 Wilson(?)

1926 Sports Comapny of America Champions #'s: 2 Alexander(?)

1915 T-214 Victory #'s: 19 Magee(?)

1932 W-575-1 #'s: 106a Rawlings ("2nd B.")(?), 106b Rawlings ("2B.")(?)

1933 Worch Cigar/Minneapolis Star #’s: Sy Johnson(?) and J. Posted By: Patrick McMenemy
You can take the Diamond Gum pin off your list. It's Ira Thomas, who I collect. He played for the A's.

Patrick

Posted By: Rhett Yeakley
The Cameo Pepsin Pin is of Tim Donahue (Chicago)
-Rhett

Edited to also add:

Nehf never played for Philadelphia and Gassler's share checklist with E121 Series of 80 so he would be for New York

Rawlings' W575-1 cards list him for New York Nat'l

Posted By: J Levine
More thanks...Scott, I am pretty sure I saw that card in your sale but was unable to determine if he was pictured as a Phillie. Unfortunately in 1910 Fred played for both the Phils and Cubs so I am still not sure. It does look like a Phils sweater but just not positive because it looks like there might be a "c" on his cap.

Joshua

Posted By: brian p
Hi Joshua,

I have the W575-1 Rawlings, 2B variation, and the team on this card is listed as New York Nationals.

While checking this card I did notice something interesting. The NY logo on his cap, which is evident on the E121 series of 80 version of Rawlings, appears to have been airbrushed out on the W575-1 card I have. I never would have noticed without checking on this card for you, so thanks, and I hope this info helps you out.

Brian

Posted By: Marc S.
Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but I'm not sure if this question was ever answered for you:

Now -- what I would love is if someone could tell me anything of substance about the Postaco issue. Is there an album? How were they distributed? Do the sheets of twelve actually still exist?

I've heard of some similar Postaco turtle stamps from the same time period. But generally know nothing about this issue.
