Posted By: Brian Koyama
I'm just getting my feet wet with the tobacco card sets and was wondering how SGC can tell which year a particular Piedmont card was made. I just sent in my first T206 Christy Mathewson Dark Cap to get authenticated. I look into the population report and it shows that mine is the only "A" grade for the 1910 Dark Cap verion (I knew the card was trimmed, I just wanted to get it slabbed for protection). I thought Piedmont and Sweet Caps were the most common backs for the Dark Cap version.
Any information regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Brian
