Posted By: Bob
After a long hunt, I found the Young Boston in very nice shape (clean back too) for a very reasonable price. I can finally close the chapter on the E97 set although I still have a few blank backs and black and whites to go, the main set is done

Posted By: Bob Rund
Congratulations, Bob completing this set. The Young card looks nice.

I was curious why the card shows Young left handed? Is this one of the variations of the set?

Also, I've noticed the card has Young with the Nat'l Boston team but he was with that team for the last half of 1911. Was that a variation too?

Thanks,
Bob.
Posted By: JimB
Bob,
It shows him as left handed because the photo is actually of Irv Young, not Cy Young. See the T206 Irv Young for comparison.
JimB

Posted By: Bruce MacPherson
Congrats Bob,

Completing the set is quite an accomplishment. Also good to know there is less competition for me. I am down to two including that Young. At the risk of outing an auction, I see there is one on ebay, but I am not sure you can trust a seller with such low feedback:)
