He was able to get bleacher tickets just before the game fairly cheap, most people thought the sox were down and out so the ticket prices were down. <br /><br />Oh to be young and in Boston. I tried to convince a few people to go, and between it being cold, or the Sox weren't playing well, or the game was probably going to go past midnight with Matsuzaka and Kazmir pitching, I couldn't find anyone to go. So I watched the incredible comeback from home - what an awesome game!<br /><br />How do you think the people felt who left in the 7th inning, when the Sox were down 7-0? There seemed to be a lot of people leaving then!

The crowd woke up a bit when "Wild Thing" started and Papelbon came in, however when he quickly gave up a two run double, a few more people left, although not as many as I expected would. However once the Sox started hitting the place really picked up.<br /><br />Great game. If by some miracle Becket is healthy - look out.<br /><br />Edited to add, the double to center field by Kotsay and Drew's hit to end the game both should have been caught.

I watched the play by play on the ipod... She was kicking herself out the door this AM. Loving my teeth more than the Sox, I kept my piehole shut.

I still remember that weaselly Tampa city manager appearing at press conference after press conference after Bob Lurie had agreed to sell to Vince Naimoli, essentially taunting the fans in San Francisco. The notion that Tampa Bay could win a World Series after only 12-13 years in the league must not stand. That was a fun game to watch last night.

Congrats to the Tampa Bay Rays on a job well done and good luck with the Series. They really deserved to win. If anything, it will be nice to see some local kids playing.<br /><br />It will be interesting to see what all of this does for Tampa's gametime attendance next year. Hopefully it will spark an interest in baseball down there where attendance is usually quite bleak. Posted By: <b>Michael Steele</b><p>Congrats to the Rays. Was hoping for title #7 since 2002 for Beantown. The Sox at least made it very interesting with the big game 5 comeback. I think going through that comeback and being able to survive will help the Rays in the Seies. Now if they can get more support for the longhaul in Tampa that will be a plus for the game. And I agree with Greg, ditch the cowbells.
