Posted By: Phil Garry
Nice Willard Brown, Paul. I have the Leon Day from that set, which I believe is scarcer than the Toleteros sets from the same era.

Posted By: Paul
Actually, this is a Toleteros. It is the final Toleteros set, issued in 1950-51. The other color set from Puerto Rico is the Denia set. I would bet that is the set that Phil's Leon Day is from. The two sets look very similar.

Posted By: Steve Murray
I have to presume that those are graded 10's due to being postally used or having writing on the back. Max Stein's are notorious for centering. I've owned several, still have the McGraw, and I've never seen a centered one.

BTW, beautiful cards!!!

Posted By: Jeff Lichtman
Steve, Paul, thanks. They each have tiny staple holes in the tops and bottoms which caused the 10 grade. Considerng that PSA gives out 5s to cards with paper loss, maybe these would be 6s?
