Posted By: <b>Ted Zanidakis</b><p>All good guesses....Grover Cleveland Alexander won 29 games for the Syracuse Chiefs in 1910 and 373 games<br />in Major Lge. career.<br /><br />I specifically chose this guy......as he illustrates a pet peeve I have about the T206 set ballplayer selection.<br />The T206 designers could have portrayed more 1st cards of future stars than they did. Stengel, Hooper and <br />Carey are certainly good examples of this omission.<br /><br />All these guys were rookie Minor Leaguers (ML) in 1910 (when ATC was designing their 86-card ML series)....<br />so, why didn't they include them....instead of most of the veteran players they depicted.<br /><br /><br /><img src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/9/91/Grover_Cleveland_Alexander_Baseball.jpg"><br /><br /><br /><br />TED Z<br /><br />
