Posted By: Jim VB
Jerry,

I certainly don't speak for Leon but in my opinion these types of threads are never OT. They are a vital part of board members lives and therefore, very much On Topic.

We'll keep thinking of you and your wife.

I've directed some of my patient's and families there... It may change your life too. PS, It ain't religion.

Posted By: leon
That is the absolute best news I will hear today!! I am so happy she is doing well. We are a collective family and in time of need we pull together. I have seen it happen over and over again. And as far as permitting this it's really a no brainer. WE are family first and collectors second. We might have spats, and this and that, but 99.9% of collectors are good folks and truly care about each other. I know I do and I can safely say the vast majority of the board does too. I have stated this thought many times publicly and I firmly believe it.

Steve- Randy Pausch's 'The Last Lecture' is one of the most inspirational things anyone will ever see. I have watched that lecture about 5-10 times and it might be the best speech ever. Period. If anyone doubts it then do a google, watch it, and come back and say otherwise. May he rest in peace.....

Posted By: Matt Goebel
I know we have never met or had any contact in the past, but your first post really struck a chord in me - that is my biggest fear. I always try to make it a point to feel appreciation and gratitude for all that I have, but those feelings have been more intense for me lately. I was very bummed out to hear about your situation, and I can't tell you how happy I am for you and your family to hear this new prognosis. Congratulations!

Matt
