Posted By: Bob C
I was told SGC just recently changed their policy on grading strip cards. No more numeric grades, only "A"'s.
Nothing on their web site about it and, as usual, I cannot reach anyone on the phone there.
Any news on this?

Posted By: Rhett Yeakley
I hadn't heard that. If true, I think we will just see strip cards being sent to PSA instead. I guess I understand what they are trying to do, but don't know that it is the best move on their part.
-Rhett

Posted By: josh
The whole strip card grading really amazes me. I have seen so many examples( including me) where cards from one company get an A, they cracked out and the other company grades it with a number. It is my understanding it will receive a numerical grade as long as it is cut perfectly from the strip. Look at the W551 Ruth on Ebay that is selling for $750.00, no way that should get a numerical.
