Help With Grade Cobb

Posted By: <b>Eric</b><p>I agree with the SGC 30 (2)<br /><br />or PSA 3 (MC)<br /><br />It has a diamond cut and the crease across the middle of the card will hurt it.<br /><br />As far as value, I'd say between $600-750 (my guess would be towards the upper part of this range).<br /><br />Edited: for correction of the half grade MC designation, since it doesn't exist.<br /><br />

Posted By: <b>Sean</b><p>I would send it to SGC; I think that PSA will give it a qualifier and not graded it any higher than a 3(MC), which to most people would give it a selling price of a high 1 low 2.

Posted By: <b>JimB</b><p>SGC tends to be more forgiving on centering, especially at the lower end of the scale. But that one is beyond 99/1 centering, so I am not sure how they would deal with it. My guess would be:<br /><br />PSA 3 (MC)<br />SGC 30<br /><br />JimB

Posted By: <b>quan</b><p>based on the very definition of "eye appeal"...this card has few. card is miscut, partial name is missing, face is off-register. it does have a deep red back going. it's a vg+ card raw, but sgc will knock it to a 20 or 30.

Posted By: <b>Sean</b><p>To me it actually lacks eye appeal, mostly because of what Quan said; out of register face & half a name.<br /><br />I would say if it gets a SGC 30 you could probably look at getting $600 - $650 for it.
