Posted By: scott brockelman
First many thanks to all of the board members, both regular posters and lurkers, whom stopped by our booth or caught us on the floor at the National.

While attendance at the National seemed to be down, the people that were in attendance came prepared to buy cards. I heard a few dealers remark that sales were slow, however most of them were NOT selling prewar cards. The later material has definitely softened but as many here can attest, early cards are still doing quite well, especially the nicer and or rarer material.

The show was a moderate success in terms of selling cards, a total flop in terms of buying, BUT a huge success in the amount of people who came by to consign items for the Sept/Oct auction. In the course of 3 days we took in over 200 cards and other items ranging in value from $100 to $20,000+, something for everyone. These along with other items also arranged to be sent in the next 30 days, makes the upcoming auction one not to be missed.

Thanks to everyone for your support.

Scott & Leon
Brockelman & Luckey Auctions
www.b-lauctions.com
