And to think if I only had a T202.

I'd just appreicate some notice if you put those four corners in any of the auction houses..I could prepare easier with some time.

Dave

Posted By: Zach Rice
The above T209 Sharp card is very interesting. Though the card exhibits great clarity, the bat being held by Sharp is distorted.

I compared my Sharp, Goldsboro card and in it the player is holding a perfectly straight bat. The card is in a much lower grade but the bat lacks any distortion. Other than the bat, when compared, both my card and the card posted above are identical.

Determined to nail down the DOI on this one though.

Posted By: Steve Murray
Steve:

I think you can date the M114, at least the picture, to the 1919 season. Lowdermilk joined the White Sox about a 1/3 of the way into the 1919 season coming from the St. Louis Browns. He did play in three games in 1920 so it is possible that the pic could be as late as 1920 though I doubt it.

Damn nice piece!!!!

Posted By: MVSNYC
that pic is the famous team photo from 1919...i've heard people make comments that at the time of this photo, the players "knew" something, because many of them were smerking/laughing...
