Posted By: Matt
I imagine you knew this and that's what prompted your question:

The VCP checklist says the card depicts Billy Webb/Wallace Moses.

I don't see 1935 stats for a Billy Webb and 1935 was the first year Moses played (for PHL). There is a William Webb who played in 1933 for the Chi-Sox...

But Comiskey's death, along with the passing of Billy Webb (who had built the White Sox minor-league system) hurt the team's development ..."

Posted By: Matt
Good call Chris - the White Sox website shows he coached in '35 and then '37-'39:
http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/cws/history/coaches.jsp

He is not William Webb who played for the Sox in '33, but rather this Bill Webb who played part of one season with Pittsburgh in 1917.
