Posted By: Ken Wirt
Hey Guys,

Has anyone ever had any dealings with an ebayer named Steve Berman whose ebay ID is mapleleafcollectibles (from Ontario)? I am interested in an ungraded card he has up for auction, but when I asked him if he provided a money-back guarantee that the card was authentic, he refused. Probably won't take the chance, but thought someone might have some insight. Thanks.

Ken

Posted By: DC
Not sure if I am confusing him with another dealer or not, but if he is from Gananoque, ON then you are probably safe. A few years back I bought some non-sports cards from him (maybe) sight unseen and then were just as described. Hope this helps.

Posted By: Paul
It's hard to disagree with Leon on this one. Even if people have had good dealings with him on some cards, why won't he guarantee the authenticity of this one?

Posted By: leon
I do think, after reading what others say, that the card and/or transaction would be fine. Some folks just won't guarantee anything. It's a different way to do business but isn't always bad. That's probably the way this seller is (won't guarantee anything at all)....I guarantee everything I sell, as most folks do....but to each their own...A guarantee DOES take my speticism away when it's from a good seller...
