Posted By: Paul
Canadian Goudey. Speaking of Canadian cards, what happened to V117 Brad? Haven't seen him post in a while. Always liked the Crispette cards, but I tend to lose interest & sell them for some reason. I like the Wm. Patterson cards better, but I've never owned one.

Posted By: Brian
Just so you Americans know...we Canadians tended to be "rougher" on our cards when we collected as kids. For whatever reason...we just didn't take care of our cards as well as our American counterparts. And this trend goes way back. I think the grading companies population report will back me up on this.

Posted By: Jason
I will concur with the sentiment that us Canadians must have been harsher on our cards. (Be it baseball or hockey)

Canadian cards seem to really enjoy portraits over action photos which I actually prefer. (See the tobacco issues, William Paterson, Champ's Cigarettes, Maple Crispette, and 1936 WWG)

Phil Weintraub is the final card of the 1936 World Wide Gum Set. I'm still pretty pumped about it, because of its rarity. And who doesn't like to read about ballplayers in French?!
