Posted By: leon
I am getting very, very tired of the folks that have no gonads and are posting with fictitious names and no email addresses and blasting people. For the next several days I will just delete your post after I ban you.....I am really tired of it. Put your name and good email out here and have some ba*** or don't post. It's really nothing personal but if you aren't man enough (or woman enough ) to stand behind what you say then crawl back into your corner or go to another forum that doesn't care.....We do....

ps..the latest 2 are Brad L and Ted whatever....

pss...and one other thing..many good and valued board members (and friends) are putting "Delete" in your BST postings when you are done. QUIT IT.....if everyone did that it would look like a cemetary over there and there was nothing going on...edit your info but don't put "delete" and erase everything out. Would you post over there if there were 0 posts, ever?

Posted By: Paul
I always thought that putting "please delete" when an item was sold or not for sale would keep the B/S/T from being cluttered with items that were not for sale anymore. Didn't intend to do something wrong, & will keep the listing there from now on. Sincerely, Paul

edited for spelling

Posted By: Brad Larson
...For One, I'm am looking at the word "optional" under "your email" as I type this. If that is not optional, then maybe that should be removed. For two, I don't remember ever bashing anyone. For three, what recourse do I have if I get a bunch of messages in my email that I don't want, from people on these boards? For four (yeah, I went there, lol), I am usually a pretty rational and calm person, and I guess I didn't hugely appreciate being called out as some sort of antagonist and being labeled as someone who starts arguements on a message board. I have better things to do.

I still enjoy posting here, and the wealth of info that I've found so far. I will do my best to abide by the rules of the board in the future.

P.S If I spelled anything incorrectly, I am so sorry. Is that allowed here.

Edited to add: I see a ton of posts with a first name only. Most of these have an email address. So is it o.k. to post without a full name if you have an email address? Nothing for nothing, but this is the internet and I don't really need some psyco trying to hunt me down because he took something the wrong way, lol.

Posted By: Leon
Now that you have become known you may only use your first name and so forth. If you are well known to the board, as very many are, then that is fine. I promise you it is for the protection of everyone that the rules are what they are.....I am sure you wouldn't want some troll bashing you anonymously. I won't let that happen, to anyone, to the best of my ability. It really keeps it a better place though lately I have been having some doubts . As for the spellin'......I often tell Barry I would only get a B but sometimes I am sure it's not that good. Take care and thanks again for your understanding in the matter. It really is in no way, shape, or form personal. (I am sure I screwed those commas up)

Posted By: Joseph Shirley
Leon; I appreciate your efforts to keep the standards of this forum high. I always use my real name, and have no problem disclosing my email to the moderator.

However, I just can not bring myself to list my email address to a messege, on ANY chat room or forum. From a security and privacy point of view, it makes no sense to me to take that risk.

I hope you do not delete this post, as I did not include my email. I would be very suprised if I am alone on this thought.

Posted By: leon
I appreciate your thoughts on this. Believe it or not I almost have a 6th sense about moderating and can often tell by certain ways people write if they are legit. If you have noticed I haven't emailed you. I won't delete your posts....you are who you are. If I didn't think so, of if you got into a friendly argument, then I would ask you to email me. Once you emailed me then it would be ok. It's the folks who don't email me when I ask them to that get banned. It's in the rules for a reason..I understand very well about not necessarily wanting your email addy on this/a board...That in itself isn't mandatory. Emailing a moderator back, if we ask, is.....That way if someone asks who is arguing or being critical, we know and can tell....take care
