Posted By: <b>Jim T</b><p>I have a Durham Seovereign back but cannot tell what series it is from because there is a piece of scrapbook stuck to the back where the number of subjects is listed. However, I have another Sovereign 350 back that came from the same "find" that has the same glue and scrapbook paper and is a 350 series. It is possible, if their were glued by the original collector, that they may be the same series. <br /><br />I have never tried to get the paper off the back because the card is pretty poor even if I could get it off. I'll take a closer look to see if I can loosen it up enough to determine which series it is from.

Posted By: <b>Art M.</b><p>Ted,<br />I have checked out my T206 cards and front/back lists.<br />The only card that I was able to find on my list was a T206 Jimmy Collins, Minneapolis with Sovereign 350 back. I have not seen this card but it does appear in the SGC pop reports. Could be a grading error as I have never verified this front/back combination.<br />Regards,<br />Art

It supposedly exists; however, after sampling 200+ Jimmy Collins' cards<br />these past 2 years, I have yet to see one with a Sovereign back. Most of them are Piedmont, some are Sweet Caporal,<br /> a few are Polar Bear, and two are Tolstoi backs.....Perhaps, SGC has it confused with the Eddie Collins card (which is<br /> available with a Sovereign 350 back). <br />Anyhow, Jimmy Collins stays on my No-Print list, until proven otherwise.<br /><br />Thanks for bringing up this mystery, as your experience coincides with mine.<br /><br />TED Z

After reading your thread and checking, I found a Leach with a 150 back, a Hemphill with a 150 back, and two cards, Hummell and Duffy, with 460 backs. You did not mention the 460 backs in your thread, so I just thought I would mention it. LMK if this helps you.

In 460-only Series, 46 of the 48 Subjects are available with Sovereign 460 backs.<br />The two that were not printed with Sovereign 460 backs are....<br /><br />Kleinow (Boston)<br />Smith (Chicago & Boston)<br /><br />I'm 100% certain of these 2-460 series No-Prints; therefore, I didn't feel it necessary to mention<br /> them here (I did note them in a prior Thread where I listed all the possible Sovereign No-Prints.<br /><br />While we're at it here, my research also shows the following Sovereign No-Prints in the 1st Series:<br /><br />Jennings (portrait).....is not found with Sovereign 150, but exists with Sovereign 350<br />Lundgren (Cubs)<br />Plank<br />Wagner (Pittsburg)<br /><br /><br />TED Z
