Posted By: Darren
I've found that GAI and Beckett do grade these. Any others?

My research reveals that if the factory and brand or printed on the front of the silk, it was not issued with a paper back.

Posted By: Rhett Yeakley
Be wary of these cards/silks when the vertical silk strands do not extend all the way from the top to the bottom of the paper baking, as that tends to be the tell-tale signs of a rebacked silk. The silks were cut with the back paper there so while the horizontal strands will fray the vertical ones will not.

Also be wary of those with the Red Sun back as they can be removed from the semi-worthless actresses and transferred to the baseball players (they are still tough however even found on the actresses).

-Rhett
