Posted By: leon
Generally when there is a troll on the board I will ban that IP address and continue to ban their ip's if they find more computers. I will also delete their posts. MOST of the time nothing will be said at all as trolls only want attention. SO be advised these things can happen from time to time. If you see someone talking about a troll and there is nothing in the thread then there have probably been posts deleted. The less recognition we give, of any kind, the better. I love my job. BEST REGARDS

Posted By: dan mckee
I was deemed a troll on the CU boards after PSA lost my Magie card and I tried to notify the community. The cult members didn't want to hear it and just attacked me. I think my check from PSA after the trial was written out to: "Troll Mckee"

Posted By: Brad L.
I concur, good job in keeping these boards as free from trolls as possible. And to Dan, I understand your intent on trying to warn others (although I don't think PSA loses too many cards, so I'm not sure a warning was necessary), but one thing I've learned over the years on any message board, is never try to do the community a "favor" if it in any way goes against the company that runs the board. I learned my lesson during the 360 and PS3 releases, what a nightmare that was. And then I realized that I was in my mid-30's and shouldn't telling 8 year olds to get a life, as that would mean I didn't myself, have a life, lol.

Peace.

Posted By: dan mckee
I completely agree Brad. PSA doesn't lose many cards. When I ran the SCD ad asking for other people who have had cards lost by 3rd party grading companies, I think there were only about 6 PSA lost cards and most were not too expensive. I went on their boards to warn the community of how badly it was being handled, how pathetic the customer service was and how they treat a customer who had a problem. The collective didn't want to hear it.

Posted By: Jantz
Thanks for clearing up the confusion. The other day I made a post on a thread & the next poster made a reference about a troll. For a second, I thought he was referring to me since there were no other posts between ours.

All makes some sense now.

Thanks Leon

Jantz
