Posted By: William Turner
I am not as familiar with dealers as many on the board, but does anyone know if anyone that will be at the show possibly have any Old Judge or Mayo cards at the show? Any help as always will be greatly appreciated.

William

Posted By: Josh
Recognizing some of the names I would expect there to be some Old Judge floating around the room. I am not sure about one dealer in particular who would have just these items.

Posted By: Josh
The show is finally here. I was at the set-up today and the amount of vintage material is impressive. Very few tables that you just walk by. I even saw a vintage Ty Cobb decal bat. There were several dealers with a good deal of turn of the century era cards. Saw stacks of T206's when I was walking out.

Posted By: John S
I stopped in early for about an hour on my way out of town for the next couple of days. They offer a three day pass which is nice. I will defintiely return on Sunday when I am back in town. Attending is worth the trip in you are within an hour or two. As advertised plenty of vintage material. Unfortunately I could only stir up one Colgan's in the entire building.

I spent some time with Gary Nuchereno (Hey Gary) and his impressive offering of E90-1's.

Hopefully the show is well attended. I really began to build my collection at this show in the early-mid 90's.

Posted By: Ed McCollum
If anyone happens across any T206s with the rubber stamp on the back of Howe McCormick, 500 W. Main St., Gainesville, Fla, please either pick them up for me, or have the dealer contact me. Interested in any and all. Thanks. edmccollum@cox.net

Posted By: Jantz
I will be attending the show tomorrow. I'm easy to spot, short guy with a yellow Bass Pro Shops hat on. If you see me & want to say hello, please do. I would enjoy meeting some of the board members.

Jantz

Posted By: Matt
I also just got back from the show. The ratio of vintage material to new stuff was very impressive - of the 40-odd dealers that were setup maybe only 2 or 3 tables of shiny stuff. The bulk of it was 50s and 60s stuff. I had a good time chatting with a few board members including Gary Nuchereno (BTW, Gary, the Young and Johnson BroadLeaf 460s you showed me are unbelievable!).
As to the poster asking about OJs, I wouldn't set your hopes too high - I saw maybe a dozen spread throughout the show (unless I missed something).
Next to the National, this probably the most heavily focused vintage show I've been to.

Posted By: TFerg
I'm happy to hear about all the 50's - 60's that's what I'm looking for. I only have a few cards older than 1950, but I hang around this board trying to learn about the oldies (I will make a few more 33 Goudey purchases soon).
