Posted By: <b>Dan Bretta</b><p>They are actually based on the 1887 Old Judge N172 cards....colorized versions of them. They are neat, but I see them occasionally on ebay and in lots in auction houses like Hunts.

Posted By: <b>jay wolt</b><p>These were made in 2 series of 4 different<br />starting in 1987 for the 100th annivesary.<br />I have the first series matted & framed and<br />they contain Delahanty that you scanned,<br />Jim O'Rourke, Cap Anson & King Kelly.<br />I also have the 2nd series unframed somewhere<br />and that cost $12 for the set. Picked it up at<br />Fort Washington 3 or 4 years ago. The 1st series<br />was sold through SCD ads and such and probably didn't<br />do that well thus the reason the 2nd series wasn't sold<br />the same way.
