Posted By: Matt
That seller has a bogus e90-1 matty as well. There's also a bogus E90-2 Wagner on ebay now that's getting some heavy bids.

Until ebay listens to our calls to pull these auctions and really cracks down on the scammers I would strongly advise anyone interested in buying raw vintage cards on ebay to become as educated as possible in the desired issue before bidding.

Posted By: Matt
peter - interestingly enough, that exact same E90-2 Wagner is currently for sale from 2 different sellers on ebay - exact same wear pattern, ink on the back etc. Even thought only 1 winning bidder can get the card, both winning bidders will get a headache.

Posted By: Anthony S.
I'm confused. Are you guys saying I should be hesitant to drop $30,000 for a T206 Plank with an impossible back combination from someone whose last 30 positive feedbacks are all for "Susan Lucci Youthful Essence Microderm abrasion Pro Kits?"

Posted By: Jim VB
Just for kicks, I sent the seller an email, telling him his card was a reprint. This is his response, verbatim:

"We only have one Plank card and really don't what differen with other Plank card. These collection card been the house so many many and never think we will sell them."

If anyone here knows how to translate from Stupid to English, I would appreciate it.

Posted By: Craig W
I also played Q & A with the seller

Q: "Hi. Your description of this Plank card says it's a professionally graded SGC 9. Is there some reason it's not in an SGC holder? Thank You."

A: "Good question. The information given base on my research. I do not collect them, so I don't know why it not SGC holder. Thank you"

Me Tarzan, You Jane! LOL!
Posted By: Adam
There is a white sticker on the card holder saying [$]40,000 (so that must be what this card is worth). Perhaps the $40,000 sticker is covering up the SGC grade?
