Posted By: Trae R.
I've been in touch with someone that inherited a small collection. I am comfortable valuating all but the E cards, so I wanted someone to allude to the possible values of the E's in this collection. If you don't mind listing them here please.

I notice some E102, E92, E93, and an E90-1 Donlin.

Here are the complete scans:
http://flickr.com/photos/traeregan/2329855657/sizes/o/in/set-72157604109607429/
http://flickr.com/photos/traeregan/2329854425/sizes/o/in/set-72157604109607429/
http://flickr.com/photos/traeregan/2330681018/sizes/o/in/set-72157604109607429/
http://flickr.com/photos/traeregan/2329855271/sizes/o/in/set-72157604109607429/

Oh, and how about the T207 Northen, is he a (valuable?) variation, or standard common?

Thanks for your time,
-Trae

---
"There ain't much to being a ballplayer, if you're a ballplayer."
-Honus Wagner

Posted By: Dave F
Hey Trae,

Obviously the big card is the e102 cobb. It looks like a 10 although I guess if you got a slap-happy grader you could get a 20 on a weird day. An sgc 10 e102 cobb i would venture 1000-1500...and if you made it into a 20 holder 2000-2500 would be my guess. The other caramel that I noticed was the e93 mcgraw that looks to be in pretty good shape. Unfortunately there are alot of the Hassan T202 ends that someone cut off...why I dont know (i'm sure you already know that virtually throws away their value though).

Nice little group, the e102 Cobb definately makes it though.

Posted By: leon
I think the Cobby could make a 20....it's pretty decent looking. The McGraw is about $200-$300 I think...and the commons are pretty nice and should be in the $90-$140 range each....the T202 sides are about $5-$10 ea unless there was a HOF'er....then that would double or so...unless it was Cobby or Johnnson then those would be more....The Cobby E102 is the big one though...Definitely get it graded to maximize the value if you are going to sell it..

Posted By: robert a
Hi Trae,

Pretty cool that all of the t206s are Polar Bear.
Do you have any information on what part of the country the collection is from? Perhaps PA?

Also interesting that the collection stays true to only four or five products; dockman, polar bear, standard caramel, hassan.

Some of the dockman's are in nice shape too.

Best of luck to you and the person you're helping.

rob

Posted By: Dave S
Trae--I'm sure Tbob can provide more expertise, but I've always considered Northen considerably tougher than typical commons. Certainly not near the level of the toughies, but no easy find either...

Posted By: PC
That e93 McGraw has some value -- its off center, but if there aren't any marks on it, could be a 3.

The Cobb also has some kind of ink mark on the back -- that and the other damage is going to make it hard to get into the SGC 20 holder, but still, maybe.

Posted By: Trae R.
Thanks for all of the info guys, none of the cards are for sale at this point. Here's some information on the collection, which may be much larger then I originally thought. We'll see how it goes.

"I'm in Ohio. My mother who's 82 is the baseball collector actually. She has boxes of cards I need to go through. I know she has alot of Rookie cards.
