Posted By: Fred C
I think PSA has a drug aversion program called KOC (kids off crack) where they train kids on crack how to grade cards rather than smoke crack. Unfortunately, it looks like the program is failing.

Posted By: Bruce Babcock
WTF, indeed. What do you have to do to get the "Mark" qualifier? As someone who has submitted a few cards that came back with the "Mark" qualifier, although I was never able to FIND the mark, I gave up. In all fairness, PSA did properly identify the card as an Old Judge.

Posted By: John S
Ridiculous. They must have numbered stairs at PSA. They toss the card and it is graded according to where it lands.

Posted By: Matt
"poor photo contrast" - Ed

Both PSA and SGC do not degrade for poor contrast on OJs. I've seen 7s where you could hardly make out that there was someone pictured.

Posted By: CoreyRS.hanus
So in making the argument that the sole role of grading companies should be to opine whether cards are altered or unaltered, this is as good a candidate as any to be Exhibit A.

Posted By: Fred C
I'm almost tempted to send in a load of cards to PSA. If that's a 4 then I'm sure I have a few 8's.
