Posted By: Jason Silvey
Does anyone know the SGC authentic grade requirements? I have a T206 that's had the white border completely trimmed off along both sides and the top and it also has back damage. Will they give me an "A"? I've tried emailing but with no response yet. Thanks.

Jason

Posted By: Mark T
I just Emailed SGC on Sunday about a card i want graded AUT because of a 1/2 inch cut at bottom of card. I also sent them a scan but i have not heard from them yet. I know they may get 100's of emails so i called. The guy said yes to my question but he did not have a scan. I guess i will wait for a reply.

Posted By: Peter Thomas
I have had a few cards returned this way. Usually they are missing a substantial corner with some of the image included. If it is trimmed to border it will probably get aut. Sending a scan seems like a good idea. Let us know if this works.

Posted By: Ricky Y
I notice that when I get the invoice directly from SGC, there is a check box if you want the card graded as "Authentic" but there isn't that option on the online invoice. Do you just write that in someplace on the online invoice?

Ricky Yo

Posted By: Alan U
I put a sticky on all my submission forms (PSA & SGC) requesting items not eligible for a numeric be slabbed as "authentic".

Both companies have returned a couple cards unslabbed that have been "too" altered or are missing too much of the card. I'm not exactly what their standards are though.

Posted By: Jason Silvey
I received a response from Michael Goldberg at SGC last night requesting scans of the card. I'll post the response and the scans I sent once I hear back.

Jason
