Posted By: Joe D.
hard to tell from those scans. I could go either way on that one.

The T200 Cincinnati is probably the least expensive card in the set....
so I say wait for one you are sure is legit.

There is no great bargain in that listing.

Posted By: Fred C
This looks good. Its not uncommon to see a slight curl in a real card. The bends/creases in the card look consistent with bends/creases I've seen on several of these cards.

Just keep checking.

The one shown in the eBay listing is not particularly nice (condition wise), it is raw, and it may not be a legit card (probably is).

Starting at $50... it already isn't a bargain. If that grades a 1 or a 2 it probably is worth $85-$120.

you could wait for a beauty like this one and spend about $200 or so (no longer mine).

Posted By: Bob
You guys probably have more experience with Fatimas than I do but I am not crazy about the colors of this card. Compare it to the "buff" colored one shown above. The back looks too frigging white, like the whitish backs on the reprints floating around.
I hope someone gets it for a bargain and it is real but I am passing....

Posted By: Jeff Lichtman
I think the card is fake. Colors are off -- but the telltale sign is the bidders' IDs are kept private. Why on a $50 card?

Posted By: Frank Wakefield
I don't know.

I think it is not authentic. But I find these small T200 cards some of the most difficult to evaluate based on an eBay scan of all the cards on eBay.

That hairline crack or crease in the top left hand corner doesn't look quite like what I'd expect to see in a T200. The T222s I have all have a bit of fatigue to them, but none of it looks like that. And, the colors look a bit to vivid, as stated above. That crack or fold line on this one looks fabricated.

I don't have a T200. And I'd like to buy an affordable worn one some day. And I will concede that I've envisioned buying a slabbed card (yes, me, blasphemy) to have a better comfort level about authenticity, unless I'm buying for someone I trust.

So for this particular card, I just don't know. But I do know I wouldn't pay $50 for this one.

And THANK YOU for the tiny url.

Posted By: Mike Pugeda
I thought it looked good. I think the off color has more to do with the scan. It's the curl that made me think it was real. I have the Pittsburgh team I purchased at Ft. Wash and it has the same curling. Maybe ask the seller for a better scan (enlarged).

Mike

Posted By: 1880nonsports
I've scanned quite a few of these and the back looks right. Without seeing an angular view where the printing was impressed/struck on the BACK of the card or the gloss that would be exhibited on the front for 100% confirmation - I'd say there's a greater than 90% chance it's real and the flat tonal qualities of the photo are just a result of the scanning........
no guarantees whether written or implied. I think it's a good buy at that price - might bid on it myself
