Posted By: Martin Neal
I just won an auction for a psa 3 W.A.Latham for $416.00. I meant to bid $166.00 but added one extra 6 by mistake. Unfortunately, someone else bid $411.00. I guess I will have to love that card about 3 times what I should.

Posted By: Fred C
What isssue and what grade was the Latham? I guess somebody else really wanted that card also. In any case it kind of stinks to pick up a card that way. Like you said, you better learn to love that card.

Posted By: Martin Neal
It was a Psa 3 T205 W. A. Latham. It was a card I have been trying to pick up. I originally bid $130 or so and had to up my bid at the last second. It happened so fast...

Posted By: Brian
Offer the seller $50.00 to sell it to the underbidder. He gets the card at his price, and the seller makes an extra $45 or so.

Posted By: Martin Neal
I will try to make some kind of arrangement. Maybe the seller will give me the underbidders name and I could contact him directly.

Posted By: Frank Wakefield
But selling the card to the underbidder for $167 isn't fair to the seller...

I think the earlier advise, about being honest with the seller, and getting him to offer it to the underbidder, that is the way to go.
