Posted By: Joe_G.
I've yet to give issue #14 a thorough read, but wanted to congratulate Lyman & OC on a fine 3 page fold out (an OC first?). I enjoy baseball history just as much as the cards themselves and I'm sure the handy Baseball Timeline will see heavy traffic.

Thanks to Terry Knouse Sr., Mark Fimoff, and the Entire OC staff for another fine issue.

Best Regards,
Joe Gonsowski

Good show.

The timeline is excellent, and as I told Lyman, having a resource for the nickname of every 19th century team is invaluable. Often it takes me a long time to dig that up and now it is all in one place. Lyman- it looks great!

Posted By: Lyman
Thanks, guys. Your positive feedback is very much appreciated. The MLB Timeline article has been in the works for some time now. It started as back-of-the-envelope hand scratching to help me sort out for myself some of the relationships among the obscure teams represented on early baseball cards. I now use it frequently for the same reasons. Glad to hear that it is also helpful for others.

As always, we need and appreciate your continued support. Brett and I thank all of our authors, subscribers and advertisers for allowing us to continue to publish a quality all-color magazine (and for helping me to fulfill one of my retirement dreams).

Wishing everyone many great finds in 2008,
Lyman
