Posted By: leon
A few days ago a non sports card gentleman, who many board members had good dealings with, passed away. I never knew him but from the posts on the non sports side he must have been a hell of a nice guy. RIP Hugh....reading the posts put a tear in my eye. ....regards

http://www.network54.com/Forum/526604/thread/1198688141/last-1200421607/Hugh+Jones

Posted By: dan mckee
Hugh was a class act and a good friend! He was holding cards for me and 1 completed my master set of US caramel presidents. SCREW the cards! I miss my friend and it is a very sad loss to the hobby. Hugh was HIGH as hell on prices but had what you needed and was a great guy to deal with. I lost a friend!

Posted By: Alan
Hugh always considered himself (as a non-sports dealer), “A big fish in a small pond” as there were not very many vintage non-sports dealers, much less guys without a computer. He may have been the only full-time dealer dedicated to only vintage non-sports cards. I had been printing the threads from the non-sports message board for him to read on a regular basis. He truly looked forward to reading them.

He will be missed so much.

Alan
