Posted By: leon
I don't think the anonymous poster is a "Mark". The "Mark" that this is thought to be is from the west coast. I would advise everyone, lawyers included, to be very careful about accusing someone publicly if they don't have all of the info. I think there might be a way to find out who this arse is...here is the latest tracking of his/her IP below.....If anyone knows how to nail down the person I would appreciate knowing. I think I have 2-3 IP's, which are pretty strong evidence....Their IP's are 66.90.103.254, 66.90.104.129....

OrgName: FDC Servers.net, LLC
OrgID: FDCSE
Address: 141 West Jackson Blvd, Suite 1135
City: Chicago
StateProv: IL
PostalCode: 60604
Country: US

ReferralServer: rwhois://rwhois.fdcservers.net:4321

NetRange: 66.90.64.0 - 66.90.127.255
CIDR: 66.90.64.0/18
NetName: FDCSERVERS
NetHandle: NET-66-90-64-0-1
Parent: NET-66-0-0-0-0
NetType: Direct Allocation
NameServer: NS3.FDCSERVERS.NET
NameServer: NS4.FDCSERVERS.NET
Comment:
RegDate: 2003-08-18
Updated: 2004-02-26

OrgAbuseHandle: ABUSE438-ARIN
OrgAbuseName: ABUSE department
OrgAbusePhone: +1-312-913-9304
OrgAbuseEmail: abuse@fdcservers.net

OrgNOCHandle: NOC1402-ARIN
OrgNOCName: Network Operations Center
OrgNOCPhone: +1-312-913-9304
OrgNOCEmail: support@fdcservers.net

OrgTechHandle: PKR5-ARIN
OrgTechName: Kral, Petr
OrgTechPhone: +1-630-729-0228
OrgTechEmail: abuse@fdcservers.net

# ARIN WHOIS database, last updated 2007-12-21 19:10
# Enter ? for additional hints on searching ARIN's WHOIS database.
Posted By: leon
I am right there with you my friend. I have no idea why folks would want to come onto a board anonymously and cause trouble. I guess they suffer from low self esteem. There is counseling for that kind of issue. I hope they get some. Also, I am aware that someone can use different s/w in order to be untraceable from an IP. There are ways to fool the fool too ....

edited grammar...

Posted By: Mark
Speaking as a "Mark from the West Coast"... I hope nobody was fingering me

I spend most of my time on the other (Memorabilia) side, but when I wander over her, I enjoy Jeff's posts tremendously.

Hope they can nail this inappropriate "Julian", as there is no reason for anyone to pollute this great forum in that manner.

Posted By: Dan Bretta
Arthur, if you're accusing someone of narcissism you should at least name them in your post. <--------note smiley

There is no emoticon for irony, but if there were one I would have posted it.

Posted By: anthony
although my name displays Anthony, it's actually my middle name. Mark is first name and i do live on the west coast as well. if i email you for transactions, my email will display Mark.

i dont know anyone here well enough (other than maybe quan, king & leon) to dislike them. these 3 members are the only members i've had the pleasure of meeting and would have no problem inviting them to my house for a bbq.

i too would hope i wasnt thought of as this culprit.

Posted By: Steve Clark
I recall that there is somewhat of an obnoxious/immature poster at CU that goes by Julian. I can't verify since the boards appear to be down but it could just be a random handle.

Posted By: leon
No, Julian isn't me. I like just about everybody on the board, especially Jeff and Joann. Bad mouthing friends would be idiotic....And if I disagree with them I will do so in polite manner...As for deleting any of these threads or posts. Probably not going to happen. The only way a thread or post gets deleted is if it's by someone posting crap anonymously, or under very extraordinary circumstances. I think I have deleted 2 threads this year that weren't anonymous or of an operational nature. Out of about 3000 threads I would say 2 isn't very many. One of my faults is letting stuff go...and it will continue to be one......best regards

edited # of threads to be more accurate...
